PLANNED MAINTENANCE
MECHANICAL INSPECTOR
P03 - £35,055 - £37,851 p.a.
Hackney Homes is responsible for 33,000 homes. Our Building Maintenance department has made significant changes and improvements to the way it carries out its business. We now require a Mechanical Inspector to assist in continuing with our journey.
This is an exciting time to be joining Hackney Homes Planned Maintenance management team. The organisation has undergone a transformation which is focused on service delivery and providing high levels of customer satisfaction.
We now require someone with exceptional skills, who will help drive the section forward, make a difference and supervise the completion of domestic gas installations & repairs to occupied/void dwellings.
Ideally you have a good in depth gas knowledge with the relevant qualifications, with solid experience in the industry, motivating and inspiring staff to deliver a first class service to our customers.
You should have significant experience of working in a building maintenance environment and it would also be essential to have a related gas qualifications and ACS accreditation.
You will be joining a team of other inspectors/managers, comprising of domestic and boiler house engineers to complete a multi-million pound programme, which will require high levels of business acumen and good communication skills.
