How will the Tenant Scrutiny Panel work?
As a member of the Tenants Scrutiny Panel, you will work with Hackney Homes officers to ensure agreed standards are met, and work towards implementing service improvements. You will challenge our performance and contribute ideas about how we can improve the way that we do things.
You will focus on the areas that are important to residents which are:
. More reliable and more flexible response to repairs
. Quicker and more reliable response to anti-social behaviour
. Cleaner and more attractive surrounding environment
What will you get in return?
You will receive training and support from Hackney Homes and you will develop new skills and experience to help you in your personal and professional life. You will also be rewarded knowing that you have contributed to making changes to the services that thousands of people in Hackney receive.
Who can join?
As you already have experience of Hackney Homes as a tenant, you will have invaluable experience of our services from your point of view. Some additional qualities that would be useful are:
. Ability to identify the good and the bad in the way services are delivered
. A willingness to talk about solutions and contribute ideas
. Work with others in a team to achieve set goals
. Ability to be objective, honest and open
How do I apply?
