ASB Consultation
Aims and Objectives
The consultation will engage tenants and leaseholders in the Anti Social Behaviour policies and procedures. The consultation will aim to find out:
- Views and opinions of the methods of tackling ASB
- Confidence in Hackney Homes to deal with the issue
- Reasons for reporting / not reporting ASB
- Feedback on information provided regarding ASB
Who will be consulted?
As information about resident’s opinion of ASB is already available from the results of the 2008 Status Survey, it has been decided that this will be used as a starting point for segmenting the audience to be consulted with. Using this and other anecdotal evidence, the following groups will be consulted with:
- Residents who have recently experienced and reported ASB
- Residents who have expressed an interest in discussing ASB
- Young residents (MORI shows least likely to report ASB)
- Residents in Queensbridge and De Beauvoir (MORI shows least likely to report ASB)
- Turkish speaking residents (Evidence least likely to report ASB)
- Specific community groups who represent the needs of specific groups, including Disability Hackney and Polari for older lesbian, gay and bisexual community
- Tenants and Residents Associations
- Neighbourhood Panels
- Resident Liaison Group
