The Learning Trust delivers educational services to adult learners and over 27,000 pupils in more than 70 schools, nurseries, and playcentres in the London Borough of Hackney. The Learning Trust is a not-for profit company with the responsibility of running all education services for the entire borough. They also have a range of support schemes for students and grants for pupils including school meals, clothing grants, travel passes and school journey grants.

The City and Hackney Teaching Primary Care Trust aims to provide high quality, affordable health care services and to improve the health of the patients and communities they serve. In the past five years they have brought new GPs to the area, improved the quality of care in surgeries and invested in the Homerton local hospital.

The East London Business Alliance (ELBA) is a business led and business funded regeneration agency that encourages and facilitates business involvement in the social and economic regeneration of East London. The Alliance assists in the transfer of business skills, experience and resources to community and voluntary projects in East London through a large scale Employee Volunteering network. It also provides networking opportunities, promotes business interest in East London and ensures that a business voice representing East London’s priorities is heard by local and central government.

Hackney Voluntary Action is a charity supporting over 1000 voluntary, community and statutory groups in the London Borough of Hackney. They also operate the Volunteer Centre in Hackney with more than 500 opportunities available.

Homerton is an innovative and friendly 3-star foundation hospital based in the east London Borough of Hackney. They provide general hospital services to Hackney and the City of London, and specialist care in obstetrics and neonatology, fetal medicine and neurorehabilitation across east London and beyond.
