Performance reporting on our estates   Measuring our performance

    What we monitor and why

Hackney Homes publishes performance data monthly. This data is used to monitor how we are performing and also to set future targets. To allow us to show how we are providing services to you, we need to measure what it is we are doing. Some of the key performance areas measured and monitored include:
    • Amount of rent collected every month
    • Time taken to carry out repairs
    • Resident satisfaction
Every year Hackney Homes produces a Business Plan which helps set out what the organisation plans to do and achieve over the next few years. The Plan is developed following extensive consultation with Hackney Homes tenants and leaseholders, Hackney Council, staff and partners.
Hackney Homes also produce an end of financial year report and financial statement to cover the year preceeding.

    Monthly Performance Digests 2008/09

The performance reporting periods are linked to our business planning process and our submission requirements to various governmental bodies. This requires us to report performance and financial information in financial years which begin in April and end the following March.
