    Outreach and support

    Support

Hackney Homes provides outreach and support services to ensure all residents can access our services.
    1. Accessibility to our neighbourhood offices
We have improved access to all our neighbourhood offices. We can also offer minicoms and hearing loops. If residents are not able to access one of our offices, we do offer home visits.
    2. Outreach surgeries for black and minority ethnic communities
We offer outreach surgeries on our estates to help residents access our services. Many of our staff speak a language other than English and come along to speak to residents. We help residents order repairs, access our services or sign up to housing benefit.
    3. Forums and focus groups for black and minority ethnic groups
We are committed to ensuring the views of all residents are taken into account and we hold a range of forums and focus groups. Some of these are to encourage involvement of residents who have not previously been involved and others are about specific issues, for example services for young people or repairs services.
Find out more about focus groups and how to join.
There are many other ways you can get involved, including as a mystery shopper, joining the reader panel or attending your local Tenants and Resident Association. Find out more.
