Hackney in Bloom 2009

If you are proud of your planting skills and think your garden is among the borough’s best, then why not enter this year’s Hackney in Bloom contest?

The annual event celebrates the beauty of garden areas in local homes, pubs, businesses, open spaces and schools.

This year, the competition judges will be awarding marks for sustainability and biodiversity as well as looking at entrants' imaginative use of flowers, shrubs, display excellence, colour, condition, quality of layout and overall impact.
