Leasehold Liaison Officers
By working with our partners Pinnacle, Pathmeads and Mouchel Parkman, Hackney Homes have made another improvement to our services by introducing Leasehold Liaison Officers (LLOs) in each of the five neighbourhoods.
We did this in consultation with the Borough wide Leaseholder and Freeholder Forum and North East Leaseholders Association. This will ensure consistent, improved customer service and provide value for money for our leaseholders and freeholders.

The role of the LLOs is to:
- Act as a link between the Neighbourhood Office and Leasehold and Right to Buy Services
- Liaise and lead on more complex leasehold queries/enquiries, without absolving other Housing Managers from their responsibilities
- Represent the Neighbourhood Office at meetings, conventions and surgeries relating to leasehold management issues
- Identify training issues within the neighbourhood team on leasehold management issues
- With the assistance of Leasehold and Right to Buy Services, provide leasehold management training for the neighbourhood team
- Raise the knowledge base of leasehold management of the neighbourhood team
- Anticipate issues and cascade information to neighbourhood team
