Service charges are paid by leaseholders and some freeholders (those who own houses on estates) to Hackney Homes for the shared services that are provided on their block and/or estate. This can include repairs, redecoration, cleaning and grounds maintenance.
The Service Charge Accounts team deals with enquiries concerning the cost of service charges. Enquiries regarding the actual services provided to estates (eg estate cleaning or grounds maintenance) should be made to your local Neighbourhood Office.More information about service charges
