This was held at The Ocean in Mare Street on 26 September 2009. The main focus of the conference was on how Hackney Homes can ensure that the works we carry out in and around your home are of the best quality and are giving you value for money. Staff explained how service charges and major works costs are calculated, how these costs compare with the works that we do and what leaseholders in other parts of the country are paying for similar works.

There were a number of information stalls and workshops that gave leaseholders the opportunity to get advice and support on everything from managing finances to reporting communal repairs and anti-social behaviour.

We will contact leaseholders and freeholders about other events which will be held throughout the year.
