    Hackney Homes Resident Consultations

Consulting with residents   Consulting with residents

    What is a Resident Consultation?

At Hackney Homes, we recognise the need to liaise with our residents on important decisions and to understand and be aware of your opinions, needs and problems. This means we can work together to provide the best possible services to you
Consultation is usually by one or a combination of the following means:
    • sending letters to all residents
    • displaying notices in prominent places
    • calling a meeting of residents
You can get involved as little or as much as you want - it is up to you. We are just keen to hear what you have to say.

    Results of recent consultations

    Service Standards

Following extensive consultation with residents and staff, the new service standards have been approved by Hackney Homes Management Team.
These new standards will be presented to the Board on 17 March for final sign off. The standards provide a comprehensive framework for delivering a wide range of services to residents. The new standards will be widely communicated to residents and staff once they have been approved.

Proposed parking enforcement on estates in Hackney

Parking on your estate can sometimes be difficult due to large numbers of unauthorised vehicles. That is why Hackney Homes is proposing introducing Parking enforcement to ensure that residents and their visitors can park in designated bays on the estates and emergency vehicles can have easy access to the estate.
Resident of Mayfield, Laburnum and Goldsmith etates voted against the proposed parking enforcement.
Residents of Jack Dunning and Landfield estates voted for the new parking enforcement.
