Applying for the Right to Buy
The Right to Buy team at Hackney Homes deals with applications from secure Council tenants who wish to buy the home they live in. Application forms are available from the Right to Buy team (full contact details shown below) and local Housing Neighbourhood Offices. You can also download the forms in PDF format by clicking the links shown below.
The Right to Buy team deals with enquiries concerning all stages of the Right to Buy process up to, but not including, the legal conveyancing stage.
Application pack information
We provide a comprehensive information pack to any tenant who is interested in the Right to Buy scheme. The pack contains important points about the scheme, our obligations and policy on repairs and details about changes to the scheme that were introduced by the government in 2005. NB If you wish to apply for the Right to Buy you will need complete and submit both the RTB1 application form and declaration form. We cannot process your application if you do not sign and return the declaration form.
