    Rehousing Options for Leaseholders and Freeholders

    Where a block is to be demolished the Council will buy back leasehold properties at market value with an additional 10% Home Loss compensation.  The Council will only buy back properties in blocks earmarked for demolition - initially for the Kick Start sites. The Council has made available a number of different options to help those who may experience difficulties in moving out - for example, leasehold swaps .
