Support for Leaseholders and Freeholders
Hackney Homes recognises the importance of providing our customers access to financial advice where they can receive support and general advice on managing their Service Charges and Major Works bills.
We understand the difficulties experienced by our leaseholders and want to make them aware of possible funding, grants, benefits and support available to them.

Mortgage Rescue Scheme
If you are a leaseholder experiencing difficulties in paying your mortgage it may be possible to defer your payments for up to 2 years under the government's Mortgage Rescue Scheme. Hackney Council's Options & Advice Team, part of Housing Needs, can assist you. You can telephone them on 020 8356 2983.
